My journey started through the Summer of Tech initiative, and I was able to secure an internship with SSS. Throughout my internship, I witnessed how much the team cared about each other and their clients.
I felt incredibly supported during the process and had the opportunity to gain exposure into different areas that included governance, risk and compliance, security engineering, security operations, and the service desk.
I have since accepted a permanent position as a cybersecurity engineer with involvement in Identity Access Management as well as Security Operations. My current focus is on role-specific learning and taking responsibility for things like analyst tasks, daily health checks, and case and incident management.
